This research report is the result of an in-depth market analysis of the small business development environment on South Dakota's nine Indian reservations. It examines common barriers to Native entrepreneurship in reservation communities, the entrepreneurial climate and small business development activity on each of the state's nine reservations, and a range of recommendations for federal government agencies, state government agencies, Tribal governments and Native CDFIs to consider in their efforts to grow and support  Native entrepreneurs in reservation communities.
